Our goal is to guide our community in science-based research and decisionmaking, education, and collaboration between all citizens. We will work hand in hand with community members, educators, businesses, elected officials, and our youth to initiate a sustainable and resilient future for Georgetown County. This will ensure that Georgetown County has an empowered and informed citizenry that safeguards its natural resources for future generations to enjoy a quality of life as we have.
The first projects of this group are to develop a Sustainable Business program for the County, promote the Georgetown County Rain Barrel Initiative, and developing Flooding and Sea Level Rise Role-Play-Simulations.
